Sometimes as a designer, we are faced with the challenge of taking something that is inherently dull and try and make it exciting and interesting. This was precisely what I faced when designing an Annual Report for Illinois Policy Institute the reviewed the previous year in a series of data. I designed the infographics to display the data in an easy to read way, created a color scheme and interesting plays on negative space and the shape of Illinois. Not every project get’s to be as exciting as fleshing out an entire brand and it’s important to display the variety of work that I am capable of.
